
Everybody has to do it sometime. This time it was Willie Nelson.

This time we got a lot of snow in the Chicago area. Most areas got over 30 inches. That is a lot of snow. A lot of people also got stuck on Lake Shore Drive.
It is snowing today. To walk around in the silence after it snows in a large city is one of the few things I look forward to each year. The snow seems to act like a large muffler that deafens the already quiet evening air. With the snow deadening the noise of all of the road vehicles tires it is much more peaceful.
College students around the United States are having some interesting experiences this fall. With the push to get their latest product seen Adobe has a group traveling to various colleges and universities throughout the nation. This ‘tour’ includes a series of lectures by two people, from Adobe Julieanne Kost and from the photojournalism/advertising world Colin Finlay. Julieanne gives a really great lecture on how to use the new Adobe product; Photoshop Lightroom and Colin lectures about his photography and the stories behind the images. Continue reading
